when you go to a movie do you ever believe for even a second that the protagonist will fail?

I'm sick of these predictable happy hollywood endings.Sure there are
some exceptions (requiem for a dream and funny games)but when theres
so many of the same fucking everything works out ending repacked whats
the point in watching movies anymore?Theres no suspense because I know
what will happen.

I can't be the only one sick of this.
