Douglas to get O'Neill award
Michael Douglas continues to be drawn on to get the twelfth annual Monte Cristo Award in the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. He'll get the kudo for his career accomplishments as well as for his contributions towards the legit community. Wife Catherine Zeta-Johnson will show the award to Douglas in a Gotham gala in April. Douglas spent three summer season being an actor in the O'Neill within the sixties, and is a person in the org's board of trustees since 1980. Situated in Waterford, Conn., the O'Neill center works a range of developmental legit programs, the very best known which are its summer season National Playwrights Conference and National Musical Theater Conference. Such initiatives have given an earlier boost towards the careers of legiters including August Wilson, Wendy Wasserstein, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Robert Lopez, amongst others.
