First Look at Michael Shannon's Real 'Man of Steel' Costume

Want to see a new photo of Michael Shannon in costume for ''Man of Steel'? Of course you do. Shannon already told Moviefone that he's wearing a motion-capture suit for the role, but he's also got an actual costume, and new photos of the Oscar nominee in wardrobe have surfaced. Take a look at his minimalist General Zod uniform ahead. The new photos (which were posted to 'Man of Steel's Facebook page) show Shannon in a form-fitting black costume that looks less shiny than Henry Cavill's revamped Superman suit. Also: is that a goatee? Whether he can possibly rival the awesome badassery that was Terence Stamp's General Zod, with or without menacing facial hair, remains to be seen.
